Exam bookings include a workbook in PDF format and e-book (where available) and access to the CISI’s Revision Express e-learning product. When you register for a CISI exam, you will automatically receive CISI student membership for one year. This membership opportunity is designed to support you in your studies, but also in your wider career development – offering access to resources to build your knowledge, free events to grow your network, and opportunities to help you progress.
Testing will be by Computer-Based Testing (CBT)
Fees for examinations conducted through CBT will be discounted by 50% in accordance with clause 1.4.1 of the MoU made between GISI and CISI for first-time examination candidates.
GISI-CISI QUALIFICATION PATHWAY
SEMINARS & CONFERENCES, WORKSHOPS AND SHORT COURSES
- Seminars at GISI will last from 90 minutes to 3 hours depending on the topic at stake. It will take the form of a lecture where participants engage in discussions on relevant topics.
- Seminars to be organized by GISI will create the opportunity to delve deep into specific topics with opportunities to ask questions and have group discussions
- Seminars can be planned for capital market participants, stakeholders, customers, etc. to provide relevant information related to the products and services of the capital market.
- Seminars are usually shorter events and last for few hours whereas conferences are usually longer and divided into sessions according to the different interest, positions, categories and attendees.
- Workshops usually last between 1 to 2 days and it offers participants a great way to learn about a particular subject.
- Workshops allow delegates to have issues addressed on a specific topic by recognized experts who are up to date with the latest developments in the field. These workshops are very appropriate in an era in which people do not have time to read a number of books by experts. Participants can spend reasonably short period of time and get substantial information on a topic they have an interest in. The speakers, who specialize in these fields, have already done the sifting and selection of information from a wide variety of sources.
- Workshops create learning communities that bring together participants who are like-minded. This type of learning process can be very effective for our participants. Workshop environments allow facilitators to deliver the theory component whilst allowing delegates to engage in practical exercises. These events bring together academic, corporate and policy-makers. It also encourages delegates to exchange ideas, experiences and practices.
- GISI will run short courses designed for professionals to deepen their knowledge on financial and investment issues, corporate governance, ethics, etc. This may last up to 3 hours a day for 3 to 5 days. Participants shall be issued with certificate of participation.
